Kyrl Henderson: Writer / Producer / Director
Kyrl Henderson is an award winning writer, producer and director who has written and produced dozens of films & videos, including documentaries, and wide variety of business communications. He is also an artist that works as a photographer and musician.
His communications style is clear, direct, and concise. Years of experience have taught him that people act and change their behavior based on emotions: how they feel. They then justify their emotional decision rationally. It’s most effective to reach people through their hearts, which can cause them to change their behavior by rational justification.
Kyrl has a B.A. in History from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, (’71) and lives in Chaska, Minnesota. He is also a professional soccer coach. He is the founder of the Oneota Film Festival in Decorah Iowa, and is an active member and communications volunteer with a number of historical organizations and the Democratic Party.
